Takako 🐀
eh, I might have inadvertently saved a dove from a hawk. I walked toward the emerald arborvitae tree to add some fallen branches to the pile of leaves and branches in the back corner of my flowerbed, suddenly a large bird (cooper’s hawk) took off from the evergreen tree, then a second later another medium sized bird (mourning dove I saw earlier) flew away in the opposite direction, shedding a handful of down feathers on the frozen lawn. I gathered the scattered feathers and put them by the pile. I was amazed how warm my hand felt just holding a little downs on my palm.

#birdDrama
