Does anybody have recommendations for books (in English) about French history? I’m interested in pretty much any era but don’t know where to begin. If I had to specify, I’m interested in industrial/economic history and colonial history (which may end up being histories of Algeria/Vietnam/etc.) but truly interested in any topic/general survey from any era. #bookstadon #books #history #france
