Bootlickers like OP really pissed me off.

I was so excited to see this even though I am not in California. For decades I have taken it upon myself to complain to property managers that have expired elevator certificates and to snitch on them if they don’t do anything about it.

So this guy builds this database and when someone suggests that he notify the authorities he doesn’t want to hurt the industry so he doesn’t want to do that.

Fuck people like this. I want attention from my little tool that notifies you what elevators are unsafe but I don’t want to do anything about the unsafe elevators because it might hurt the people who don’t give a shit about elevator safety?

So just another grifting corporate bootlicker then?

I was fooled by this former local activist, turned into another neoliberal politician - who stopped masking up & tows #BCNDP corrupt party lines because he's also a power hungry narcissistic person, who has abandoned the citizens who helped get him elected. In sad reality, auditors expect some kind of "endpoint protection" to give you the compliance certificate that the company needs, , and most companies decide to buy that instead of implementing it youself. And it is also in your "best" interest to accept that as a system administrator. If the bought software fscks up, people shrug it away and continue (including continuing to use said software). If your home-built solution fscks up, you're at least in for some very uncomfortable appointments in your own C-suite, if not immediately out of a job. That's sad reality, and I regret writing that. But.
