Last August I saw the most incredible Northern Lights I've ever seen (I've only seen them a few times since I live in the Southern Finland). The entire sky was covered with intense green lights and sudden flashes of red and purple. It was such a divine cosmic sight it was almost terrifying.

These pictures are from the last % of the show because I didn't want to miss the most intense part getting my camera. I even managed to capture one of the Perseids in the second picture.

I've mentioned before how quickly the ecosystems can shift in this area, seeming to change completely between one step and the next.

I thought I had caught the perfect example of that on today's #hike, but apparently I can't upload a panorama. Here, instead, is the image cut in half.

One second you're in a deciduous forest, then you're in one of firs. Thirty seconds later, you're back.

Any mention by UK government that:

#Breathtaking: since 8 Aug 2023, the daily number of hospital beds occupied by people suffering from COVID, in England, hasn't been less than 2,000.
At what cost in terms of: the health & wellbeing of all affected, the impact on the NHS and its staff, and the cost to the economy?

🏥This is #breathtaking too! @NHSEngland
🛌91,799 = The total number of patients admitted to hospital in England [between 1 Jun 2023 and 9 Feb 2024] where the patient was known to have COVID-19 [including patients diagnosed in hospital with COVID-19 in previous 24 hour period]?

#Breathtaking: Since 8 Aug 2023, daily number of hospital beds occupied by people suffering from COVID, in England, hasn't been less than 2,000.
29-weeks where people occupying hospital beds infected with this airborne virus averaged around 3,245.
No wonder the NHS is exhausted!

#Breathtaking: 245 Deaths in England, involving COVID-19 in week ending 16 Feb 2024.
🕯️Deaths registered weekly, released 28 Feb 2024 [which includes all deaths where COVID-19 was mentioned anywhere on death certificate, either as a main cause of death or a contributory cause].

Was sending elderly patients into care homes, without Covid status ascertained, a form of genocide?
Were decisions made the wrong ones?
Was the way that public messaging was handled by the government wrong? @covidinquiryuk @southwalesargus
