They moved, because they are infiltrated, indoctrinated and straight up bought by the same corporations and organizations who are supposed to be kept in check in the European market. These parties also either have f-all knowledge of IT (security) and should not be the ones deciding policies on it. Or in rare cases, actually possesses the knowledge, and use it to introduce policies with malicious intent.
