Bakom gardinen.

Snart börjar folket trängas i sina bilar. Alla tar genvägen genom villakvarteret så huvudleden är folktom. Här bland husen finns inga trafikljus, vägbulor eller stoppskyltar, bara trafikstockning morgon och kväll. Alla vet det men ingen väljer någon annan väg.
Lämmelmentalitet i Örebro.

Jag drar för gardinen igen och återgår till min bok och mitt varma te. Godmorgon Mastodoningar. 🌞🌷💐 #sunrise #sweden #spring #city

Libreria Nanni

This building used to be a hospital but has been a bookshop since 1825. It's one of the oldest bookshops in Bologna. In 1928 Arnaldo Nanni installed the now iconic Parisian style stalls - which you can kind of see on the right hand side of the picture. If there is a rare or out of print book you need - this is where you want to go. They have everything from travel to science fiction to cooking to summoning a demon. (Not 100% sure on the last one, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they had it 😂)

🔔 Ring Ring! 🔔 It's #Doorsday!

Here we have the front door to Casa Caccianemici in Bologna. Last week for window Friday I showed you one of its windows.
Some of the building dates back to the 13th century, other parts to the 15th century. It used to be home to the Passapoveri tower. "Caccianemici" means "to throw out/get rid of enemies" - so I guess as long as you are on good terms with the homeowners you're fine! 😂

This wonderful staircase was designed by the architect Ede Magyar for the Reök Palace in Szeged, Hungary (1906-1907), but it was actually created by the metal-worker and artist-craftsman Pál Fekete, who was responsible for the spectacular forging of the entire building
