This incredibley neat haul of Amiga stuff came to us the other day ~ it was donated by a software developer and with it he had about 6 boxes of paperwork, CIB floppy disks and original software he programmed.
Some of the highlights were Animation Station, Railroad Tycoon, Shadowgate and Uninvited

Hope it's better than mine, at least. I just turned on one of my Amigas and my monitor just died (a Commodore 1084S-P1) 
If you have a dead 8501 CPU I can absolutely recommend the 6502 adapter by MCes. It is very compatible and uses a regular 6502A CPU (or 6502 known to be working at 1.8MHz) and fits nicely inside the C16. There is also a variant with slightly modified layout for the Plus/4.

Hab' ich in meiner kleinen Retro-Schublade im Internet Archive sobenem tatsächlich die Menge von 333 archivierten Artefakten erreicht bzw. überschritten. Ist jetzt kein Weltrekord, aber ich fande es doch der kurzen Erwähnung wert. Liebe Grüße an alle Retro-Fans da draußen!

At last night's Tokyo Hackerspace open night, a friend came with this original #Commodore A501, a 512KB DRAM expansion for the "trapdoor" slot of the #Amiga 500:

Playing around with some copy protected Amiga disks tonight. Just tried to convert a few IPFs to unprotected disk images files (.adf). Ran into some issues. Oh, well... it doesn't always work, I'm afraid.
Also, besides #RetroGaming, I am excited to watch the #SpaceX video stream.. and I'm having some fresh pizza. At 1:25am. Gotta go to work in a few hours. Fun times!

I just found this. A map I drew of the maze in "Hero of the Golden Talisman", a game I played on the #C64 when I was a kid. It was a #datasette game I borrowed from a friend.
No internet, no guides — just squared paper, a couple pencils and a LOT of time.
I spotted a 10PRINT wallpaper in LGR‘s latest video. I think I want that!
