It creates more lines in regions with a lower gradient/derivative, which feels like a grid with repeating steps/lines. Functions can be explored much better in my opinion.
Every single point this guy touches on is spot on.
I wanted to try to draw and paint a complex forest with multiple elements. Also a try on a Watercolor canvas. Looks pretty interesting to paint on.
I don’t think I had any issues painting on it but it was so much different than a paper. I guess I will stick to paper for now but I am loving how it is turning out!

I had an ESP32-C3 based module for less than $2 in the mail this week. It has a single core #RISCV 32bit based SoC with WiFi, BLE and goodies like a debugger with USB based JTAG, and 4MiB flash chip in a very small package.
The IDE occupies 500x that memory. It packages FreeRTOS, promises amazing things and most of it is open source, but to most engineers it will remain #complex and incur a steep learning curve. These SoCs, however, can be long-lived, and learning might be worth it.
Last night I flew our club’s Piper #Saratoga for the first time in a few years. It’s a great plane, and quite different from the PA-28s I typically fly. Fast, heavy on the controls, and heavily wing-loaded. It was windy, and we were about 132 kts groundspeed on the downwind leg of the pattern. Lots of fun. #aviation #complex #highperfomance

If we want an educated - or at least informed - public, we have to stop over-simplifying the issues and facts, turning them to blenderized pablum, and get people to appreciate that real life isn't simple, black-and-white.
