A minor lion sculpture update…

I'm gradually polishing his features, and adding subtle definition to shapes and creases.

The hands still consist of separate shapes. I like to keep things adjustable as long as possible.

Pixel art of a world breathed into being from the heart of a dream. Tiered stone, a geological staircase to an unseen sky, rises in echoing platforms, each a stage for a silent drama. A cascade of sapphire spills from the heights, a liquid ribbon unraveling into a thousand shimmering threads, each a whispered promise of coolness. The water gathers in a jade pool, a mirror reflecting the unseen heavens, then flows onward, a silver sigh swallowed by emerald curtains. Flora swells in extravagant abundance; mushrooms are colossal parasols, their caps etched with the secrets of the deep, some pulsing with an inner luminescence like captured starlight. Broad leaves, polished like jewels, unfurl in a riot of green, their surfaces catching the diffused light. Fedifolk! We've just returned from a week on #Harris with the most amazing weather!

So here's „Sunny Day On Harris“ again (we were to early for the #Machair, though). I since realised that the original version of this doesn't work (you can't have a door in the chimney!) so here's a variant.

Which one do you prefer?

Illustration of a traditional Scottish cottage on a flowering meadow (Machair), surrounded by the sea. It's a beautiful day, there's sheep and birds and mountains in the background.

Variant of the previous illustration but the door is now on the long side of the house, before it was somehow going through the chimney.

Based on some vision I see falling asleep after more stressful day. I saw black human silhouette, with game-style landscape background behind. That human could be even smaller compared to scene... He moved slightly - but his opponent very more mobile. Originally it was more like giant elephant or mammoth leg but it wouldn't look terrifying enough as drawn picture.

I could thing about one meaning then - it represented enemy or more abstract problem so big and overwhelming, impossible for small weak human to fight against.

I saved every version of this drawing file with name "Mighty Enemy".
