J'aime beaucoup ce sport mais ça, ça dégoûte.
Pays de cons.
3 lateral burpees over the dumbbell
3 dumbbell hang clean-to-overheads (22.5kilos)
30-foot walking lunge (2 x 15 feet)
After completing each round, add 3 reps to the burpees and hang clean-to-overheads.
First 5 sets of 3 bench presses, aiming at 75-80% of 1RM. Finished with 49kg on the bar.
Then the deadly #wod: "Nine Rings
In teams of two, each partner does
Men: 50 - 40 - 30 - 20 - 10kcal row
Women: 40 - 32 - 24 - 16 - 8kcal row
A rows 50kcal, B rests, B rows 50, A rests, A rows 40, ... and so on.
Finished in 19'05" I'm still recovering from that one...
This year will be the first time since 2013 where I will not register for the CrossFit Open. I do not train in a box anymore and I can compare myself every day on Beyond The Whiteboard where I track my #workout.
I will still do the workouts, but I'm traveling for the first 2 weekends so having an official score wouldn't happen anyway.
Today's #WorkoutOfTheDay was a reprise of "Open 21.1", which I also did +- 1 year ago.
* 1 wall walk
* 10 double-unders
* 3 wall walks
* 30 double-unders
* 6 wall walks
* 60 double-unders
* 9 wall walks
* 90 double-unders
* 15 wall walks
* 150 double-unders
* 21 wall walks
* 210 double-unders
Last time I did single unders and the scaled wall-walk - which is fairly easy.
This time I did single unders again but now the RX wall-walk. Which is *a lot* harder.
Time cap (original) was 15', we were given 20'.
Finished 17 of the last 21 wall walks, and got time capped.
I'm happy with my progress... my shoulder doesn't hurt, my triceps though ... :D

One of the fun things about CrossFit is i get to measure my age-related physical decline. Each year a few percent slower and weaker, with sharp drops following injuries and significant disorders (ex: spinal stenosis, surgery, etc).
I have a macabre fascination with the process. #crossfit

Had to skip my #workout yesterday because I was pretty tired. Got a 93% recovery score today, so I guess I'm good to go again.

Switched to half-burpee box jump overs, and the dumbbell weight was 10kg. I'm going to feel this one.

et c'est version facile.
J'ai réussi à frôler le troisième tour de ski et j'ai envie de mourir.
On a appris, à la fin, que personne n'a réussi à le passer.
