Oh no…now Meta is automatically sharing our private messages to its AI. As far as I can tell, you can only turn it off for each message thread, one at a time (and there seems to be no option to turn it off *at all* for group threads!). Yet another privacy disaster from Facebook.
I use Messenger btw for family and non-tech friends, so don’t (ahem) shoot the messenger.

TBH, I wish MPOW would delete the FB page already instead of the current waffling, but it is not up to me (and that is another story).

I’ll just keep saying it. Delete your meta profiles. Get numbers and emails of any friends who you’re staying for and delete it. The only thing your post history is serving is AI, and spies of both governmental and corporate varieties.

I deactivated my Facebook account in 2017 and never logged back in, but never fully deleted it. I had Instagram but never logged in or used it. Today, I've fully deleted Instagram and once my archive is downloaded, I'm fully deleting the Facebook account, too. No Facebook, No Messenger, No Instagram, No WhatsApp. No Meta.
