Dear seamaids and -men,
happy to finally sail the seven seas of the Fediverse! Thank you for your warm welcome, much appreciated.🖤
As we’re still new to these waters – any recommendations (arts, music, …) on who we should follow? :clippy:

Our first toot announces our first gig in a norwegian church. 🇳🇴 Snakkes!

On a bit of a doom-favorite nostalgia trip, but with some always-present relevance:

"The Winter way is clear: Bonding music and lyrics to set a mood and convey their feelings toward this tumultuous era, in which we all live. They are echoes of reality, taking the negative aspects of a problem to generate a positive reaction. The enraged voice of the apocalypse, a soundtrack set to the onslaughter of a dark, cold, brutal world." (extract from the liner notes)

Thorr's Hammer ‎– Dommedagsnatt

It's quite funny that there was a discussion on the largest forum in Norway (VGdebatt) in the early 2000s about whether Runhild Gammelsæter was a real Norwegian person. The reason was that "Runhild" was perceived as too strange a name. I never thought so, though.

Now, of course, we know better, and the song "Norge" has even become the national anthem of Norway (I wish).
