Since I've been away from here for a bit, how about an introduction?
Hi there, I'm dAVE! I'm based in Seattle, WA, USA. I'm a dad that enjoys brewing coffee with one of my many coffee brewing toys. I also enjoy video games and reading science fiction.
As a creative outlet I like to make experimental electronic music and sound art. I mostly focus on making improvised pieces using my Roland SP404 MKII sampler and an array of effects pedals and instruments.
When making music I try to be in the moment as much as possible and just record and move on. I like to record what I'm doing down to stereo right away with no real mixing afterwards and very little mastering. Capturing the raw feeling of the moment is what is most important to me.

Since I've been awhile from the internet, what did I miss? What fun things have folks been working on or put out lately?
I just submitted a second track to Adventurous Music (in Leipzig) for their One World compilation.
It'll feature collaborations between artists of different countries, which in this time of social and political unrest seems like a good way to spell encouragment.
So, I may have two tracks on the release, one with Relay Station in the U.K., and one with Juan Cepas of 500 Goats in Madrid. To be released in the second half of September.
