#Trump claimed today at his speech in front of #law enforcement officers in #Michigan that he called the family of #RubyGarcia, who was killed by a friend of hers who was a *migrant*. Trump claimed he spoke to several of her family members….

Ruby Garcia's sister Mavi Garcia told WOOD TV8 that neither Trump nor any member of his campaign have contacted her or any of her family members, & was upset that Trump was #exploiting migrants.

This isn't about the big, flashy stories of #BigTech #exploiting employees - #game #developers at big #studios forced to work "#crunch time" 90-hour weeks on a regular basis, or Melon-head's "work hardcore or go home", or #moderation teams at #Facebook developing #PTSD.

Those stories get lots of #press already. Everyone knows about them.

I'd like to relate a much #smaller abuse that is widespread in tech. So widespread we don't notice it. Invisible.
