The short answer would be that he wants this war, and with that his political life, to continue. No matter what everyone says.<br>It seems counter productive but these kind of things often are. I've heard about this for a while now, and it was hard to choose what angle to use. Ripping of food convoy seemed the best international angle. But pending your point of view I could have chosen: culture of rape, gang like tribunals or the miraculous 'escape' from Israeli prison of it's leader.
