This feels apt for tonight. Once again I’m at a crossroads. Where I thought I was finally on the road that would lead me to my destination, I was abruptly stopped by another detour. I know I’m not alone in this. I know it’s become the quintessential Millennial experience to be told to try and then to try again. But I’m just so tired from trying. I don’t even need to move ahead. I would just be happy to know the earth beneath me is stable.

Bell-bottom blues, you made me cry…

One of my first test shots from my Sony Alpha a7R ii. I was so accustomed to shooting analog at that point, after a 3 year stint of leaving my DSLR behind. It’s so different than shooting on 35mm, but it’s easy to appreciate it on its own for how it picks up rich colors and light.
