It was only a little after 4 pm and most people had already left this beach area. The rental chairs would be folded up and taken away at 5 pm. But we had our own chairs, so we very much enjoyed this time of day at the beach. Dinner can come later! HA

Every morning while having my coffee on the balcony, I would wait for the employee to arrive and do this beach setup, arriving at 6:30 and putting out the umbrellas and chairs for daily or weekly rentals.

Cloudscape Gulf State Park Beach Alabama by Debra Martz

Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, AL is located on the beach & across the street behind the beach. This nice stretch is devoid of buildings between the last condominium west & the park's pier to the east. It's a very nice, uncrowded area enjoyed by beachgoers and people saltwater fishing away from the other crowds.

The state park pier which was damaged by Hurricane Sally in 2020 collasping a 200' section. Toward the end of the pier in the water, the section without railings, is the part which collapsed. Work appeard to be getting to close to their estimated date of completion later this summer

The Gulf Shores Beaches in Alabama are by far my favorite beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, and I've been to many. The beautiful emerald waters and white sand is glorious!
