Pino Carafa<p>It must be sad to be so insecure that you feel threatened when people ask you to refer to them by preferred <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/pronouns" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pronouns</span></a> . personally, I don't feel the need to ask this. I'm a boring and fairly obviously <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/cis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cis</span></a> <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/heterosexual" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>heterosexual</span></a> man but if someone wishes to talk about me as they, them, she, her or even it and its, well okay then.</p><p>But if anyone asks me to use particular pronouns to refer to them, I will do so. Geez it's just basic empathy. It means a lot to them. Respect that. Why must that be explained?</p>
