I found myself exploring an <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/IceCave" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#IceCave</a>. That was pretty cool. (See what I did there?)But what was most unexpected was that amongst all of the Japanese people visiting there was me, and randomly, a woman from Salford. We could have been any nationality, honestly. Paws to TrailEven in winter the falls can be swarming with children, but today it was just us. There was an interesting cavern behind the frozen cascade to explore! Amazing blues and the moody black textures. And as a bonus, my second time seeing northern lights 💚. It was 🥶 cold and cloudy, as I was trying to get a decent picture with a mini tripod and no knowledge of how to capture it. HannesVisited an ice cave near Jökulsárlón.
