I've seen posts by people using bots and scripts (or just ridiculous amounts of labor) to apply for hundreds or sometimes more than a thousand <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/jobs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#jobs</a> in just a few weeks. It's a problem.A problem that exists because of a fucked-up <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/economy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#economy</a> and <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/labor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#labor</a> market. And it's made worse by sometimes really stupid automated/AI <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/AMS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#AMS</a> employers use to filter applicants by keywords in application materials. 20% of postings being for <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/fakejobs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fakejobs</a> sure as hell doesn't help.
