Is it even summer if you aren't wearing hoops of some description in your ears? ☀️

Whether your preference is a pair of simple huggies, big boho dangles or something in the middle, I've got you covered! The first drop of my summer hoops is now on the shelves with more to come.

Drop a comment below to let me know what you'd like to see added next; the sky's the limit! (Assuming it's not diamond encrusted, in which case you're in the wrong place 😘)

Ring-making space available for this Saturday!

These Saturday spaces are usually like gold dust, but if you want to enjoy a few hours of bending, soldering and bashing metal (whilst drinking tea and eating cake), book now before anyone else gets there first. By Saturday evening you too could have a gorgeous set of stacking rings just like these. ☺️

[NB: Beautifully manicured nails are not essential for this workshop 😘]

I've now made five of these simple, ceramic fish pendants and I love the fins on this one. The combo of overlapping glazes and the engobe underneath worked really well!

Also, I wish pixelfed showed a bigger thumbnail or the pic I'm uploading when I write the alt text. Or this text too actually. Right now I keep the image open in a different window as well, to see what I'm writing about, you know.
There are over all several things I wish were slightly different with pixelfed, but we'll see what happens.

Simple yet powerful, our Piece of Sky Necklace is weighted with a lovely "Turkish Delight" rose quartz pendant. It is flanked by hand wrapped copper links made of rustic, Picasso-finished Czech glass lantern beads and little orbs of African turquoise.

This one is aglow with lots of warm fuzzies!

And heads up... 28th June marks the first birthday of our opening, and we'll definitely be celebrating! Think special offers, giveaways and maybe a cheeky glass of something refreshing too. 🥂

Get the date in your diary and start planning your trip to Hexham. You know you want to! 😘

What a difference a year makes! 🧡 Can you believe it was a year ago today that I finally got hold of the keys to my lush little shop? Have a look at the second image to see what greeted me that day, and check my next post to see the window display marking the changing seasons over the past 12 months. What's your favourite?

That being said, when you see the amazing things that a group of complete jewellery making novices can achieve, and hear them saying what an amazing time they've had and how they can't quite believe what they've actually done themselves, it all becomes completely worth it. This morning's group was incredible, and it didn't take long before they were sharing their newly learned skills to help each other along. I mean, how amazing is that? 🤩

I must admit to having a bit of a love/hate relationship with earring making workshops. Unlike my ring and bangles workshops where everyone is working on the same thing at the same time and it's all very chill, put four people together each with their own ideas of what they want to make, combined with a workshop of tools to play with, before you know it there's fifty different things happening and you don't know where to turn or who to help next!
