May falls. I had what felt like summer rain today, despite it barely being spring. I can't wait for the green to take over the world, once again. And to drink my morning coffee while I click the camera shutter button for 100 times of the very same waterfall, because why not?

One of the leading runners during Batrace 2025 in Cape Town. In the background you can see the rest of the field coming down Devil's Peak.

Shot from a tripod with a Canon EF 24-105. A long 20s exposure to capture the runner's headlight through the whole viewfield, but also to allow for light trails on the mountain. The mountain on the right gets straylight from floodlights installed on Table Mountain. I used an f-stop around f8 to allow both the fore ground and parts of the background to be in focus.

Hilterfingen am Thunersee Es gab im ganzen Winter 2021/22 nie so viel Schnee wie Anfang April.
Ich weiss nicht, woher das Licht hinter den Bäumen kommt und schon gar nicht, wieso es eine so scharfe Abgrenzungslinie erzeugt. Sieht aber interessant aus.

There was never as much snow in the whole winter 2021/22 as in early April.
I don't know where the light behind the trees comes from, let alone why it creates such a sharp demarcation line. Looks interesting though.
