I am not going to make it a habit to post about my youtube videos here, but I wanted to share this one. Because it's special.

It's an animated telling of the story of my vtuber persona/character/whatever, made completely by me.

Also... I've been obsessed with it for the past week or so and so... Still no mermaid pics for mermay on here... There's still tomorrow, right?

This is Messier 82 -- a starburst galaxy located in the #constellation #UrsaMajor

We talked about this very starburst galaxy in our #astronomy episode on the Ursa Major constellation here: starrytimepodcast.podbean.com/

We also explored the #lore and #mythology of the two Ursa constellations here: starrytimepodcast.podbean.com/

Playing the awesome Star Wars the Old Republic again.
This is a boosted toon that I specifically use to do certain Missions. I earned the boosted toon by playing the game for years. She is my Trophy 🏆 and of the class of Bounty Hunter which wield dual pistol weapons doing an Incredible a Mount of DOT damage over Time

:boosts_ok: Boost to help me survive :espeon_love:

Come listen to another gentle reading in the succubard's libary~ :eevee_joy:

[The Oblivion Crisis]
youtube.com/watch?v=s3uRKofYNz

Today, we're reading about the Oblivion Crisis, which were the events that took place during The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. This is a perfect book to read after yesterday's On Oblivion for reasons you'll figure out once you listen to it :bugcat_nod:

This book is available in TESV: Skyrim, which makes sense. It was written between Oblivion and Skyrim, with details that would be known to the Hero of Kvatch, but not to a historian trying to put the events together afterwards without access to them :zerotwo_learn:

Oh, and I also adjusted some things and I'm more expressive than ever :shiba_love:

As always, tell me what you liked, what you didn't like, and maybe even what you want me to read next :hug_love:

In SciFi great ship tech, what is the general lore behind why shields start at 100% and lower when confronted with any type of weapon or physical blow? Most shields deflect objects (not electrify/torch them) in SciFi. This infers more of a mag field or gravity. If that were so, a mag field wouldn't weaken when a non-mag force is applied.

It's fiction...I know...but so many ships have been needlessly blown up.

You know the Star Trek TNG episode "Measure of a Man" where they have a trial to determine if Data is a person able to decide their own fate?

Turns out, George R. R. Martin is why it got written.

Melinda Snodgrass was thinking it over and wanted to write it, but was hesitant to do so, and talked it over with her friend, George, who told her to "not hoarde your silver bullet".

She was worried it might be a bit too intense for Star Trek.
