Some elderberry (Sambucus canadensis) blossoms from a few years ago. Our patch of elderberries has gradually faded, until there are none left at all now.

I took dozens of shots of the head and body, thinking the flat wing would be uninteresting. Just before I packed up, I made one attempt at this. Now, I wish I'd taken the time to get it right because it was the best pic of the day!
