#MerMaid #FannyFriday continues. This time we have four playful #mermaids in the Blue Grotto on #Capri. Their fishtails are split as in medieval tradition and you can see that it starts below the fanny when you admire the one on the left.
In antiquity, the Blue Grotto was the private swimming pool of Imperator #Tiberius, who withdrew from Rome to Capri in 27 CE.

Mermaids on the front of the former Dennistoun Baths Club on Craigpark in the East End of Glasgow. The baths opened in 1884 as a private members swimming and bathing club, and closed in 1983 before becoming a snooker club.

"At a League of Minnesota Cities meeting last year, Lindstrom met a council member from Blue Earth, home of the Jolly Green Giant statue. The city had recently fixed it up using a company from New Ulm. Lindstrom called the shop and its owner came out to examine the mermaid before agreeing to take on the job."
