Ich lese gerade mit großem Vergnügen den humorvollen Roman "There I drowned without you" von Nika Sachs, über eine Metalband. Ein bisschen Romance ist auch mit dabei. Aus meiner Sicht sehr empfehlenswert. 
Der Roman ist im Selfpublishing erschienen.
Die Autorin ist übrigens selbst als Musikerin und Sängerin aktiv, u.a. in der Band "Mechanical Moth".
Ok so I think this is good video, and it makes a joke about Deafheaven that I think is funny.
That said, I think Deafheaven are quite good.
And with Sunday morning politics out of the way, it's time to listen to some Heavy Fluffing Metal!

I actually thought I ordered the CD when I ordered this from Relapse. I don't think I even knew there was a tape version at the time, and tapes weren't much on my mind. The CD was sold out at that point.
Funny thing is, I managed to do a similar thing with Masonna, buying the 3x7" believing I bought the CD of "Inner Mind Mystique".

The big small d. DOOM CLASSIC "Transcendence Into The Peripheral"
Mało w tym tygodniu słuchałem, a jeszcze mniej mi się podobało. Ale trzy punkciki są:
1. Paleface Swiss, album "Fear and Dagger", ale też inne - jeśli ktoś chce bezmyślnego darcia mordy, które jest metalcorem, ale nie do końca, jest tam totalne szaleństwo punkowo-hardcore'owo, wbijanie gwoździa kolejnymi krzykami, to chyba to coś dla Was.
2. Gnida - zespół wydający płyty o takich wspaniałych tytułach jak "S.Y.F." czy "R.A.K.". Jest to typowy death z gatunku tych brutalniejszych, ale czasem poprzetykanych np. amerykańskimi piosenkami z dawnych lat czy utworami w rodzaju "Cocktus". Zabawna rzecz, choć muzycznie pewnie takich zespołów są tysiące.
3. Chephreon - przyjemny, nieoczywisty black metal z solidnymi melodiami. To ciekawe, bo normalnie nie lubię takiego skrzekliwego, nieco inquisitionowego wokalu i tutaj też go nie polubiłem, ale nadrabia to reszta w postaci ciekawych, choć brzmiących klasycznie kompozycji, melodyjek i ogólnego klimatu.
Spiral Skies. Their singer Frida is simply an honest-to-Lita #metal goddess. Huge voice, huge stage presence!
