Art Deco style Bank of Scotland emblem on the ground floor of the former Refuge Assurance Building on Renfield Street in Glasgow. Designed by Stanley Birkett, this building was constructed in the 1930s.

I am completely building one bracer before I make any pieces for the other side, just in case I discover some major flaw in my design or process along the way. So this is where that first one stands after this weekend. I was hoping to get into the leather work by now, but I didn't quite make it.
Before Cyclone Alfred, I packed up a lot of the blacksmithing area downstairs to avoid various bits and pieces becoming projectiles in the predicted winds. Since it's quite damp today, I figured it was a good time to put everything back in order and forge out a simple starter project to get back in the swing of things.
Thus, this S-Hook came in to being from a cut-off of 10mm reo (rebar).
