The summit of #SOTA OK/LI-004 Jizera (#WWFF OKFF-0851, #POTA CZ-0010) does not offer very much space for an antenna and is usually pretty crowded on weekends. You are also not allowed to leave the trails to make use of the activation zone - the nature reserve needs to be protected. So I put up the #elecraftax2 as a fallback option and quit after 10 QSOs on #20m in #morsecode. #HamRadio #SummitsOnTheAir #ParksOnTheAir #Amateurfunk #qrp #elecraftkx2 #hiking #mountains #czechia #czechrepublic

Didn't take part in #FieldDay2025 but with all the #FieldDay action spent time fine tuning my @buddipole Deluxe Antenna as a vertical. This reading for 30 meters. Had a nice visit from my West Buechel Police (3) Officers, 1 is a Tech ham, never worked FD. Made 1 #MorseCode CW #QSO to demonstrate #AmateurRadio #HamRadio
Did a stint at #fieldday yesterday. Did 60 cw contacts. Man, people were sending FAST.
I guess it takes Field Day to see people operating in the Extra segment of the CW sub-bands... Most of them are going too fast for me, but I'm trying nevertheless.
