Today I’d like to introduce my first full electric flight with a #Diamond Aircraft #eDA40 in #msfs2020.
Based in #Detmold, Germany I first did some traffic patterns for testing. The plane has a 80 kWh battery for 74 minutes of flying. Two traffic patterns took around 20 % of battery including going going around.
After recharging I did a local flight of around one hour over #Lemgo, #BadSalzuflen, #Herford and #Lübbecke and back to Detmold. A quite strange experience was the standing propeller on the runway short before taking off. eDA40 does also recuperate, but I haven’t seen any charge of the battery. Maybe depleating is delayed.

anyway, nice short flight from Schipol - Zurich this afternoon in a Beechcraft Bonanza, in which the ATC has me going space shuttle mode to FL300 #MSFS2020
Finally have a little bit of spare time to play with flight simulator.
There's so much to update as I rarely play it. By the time I've updated all my add-ons and sim and content packs I'll have probably lost all interest again.
This is too much admin, I just want to soar like an eagle for a bit.
Is there a really accurate #Cessna 172 for Microsoft Flight Sim 2020? The default ones really are not the best and need some serious upgrades.
Is there an instructor station software Microsoft Flight Sim 2020(or ‘24)?

Manchmal braucht es Ablenkung, Entspannung und Zerstreuung. In solchen Momenten schnappe ich mir gerne den Flugsimulator von Microsoft. Die Technik dahinter ist wirklich faszinierend. Die ganze Welt kann virtuell besucht werden, basierend auf Satellitendaten, die dann in 3D umgerechnet werden. Live-Wetter und Live-Flugverkehr werden ebenfalls abgebildet.
Auf Autopilot, nicke ich vor dem Monitor auch gerne mal ein. Ich werde alt...
In diesem Fall ging es in die Karibik.
does #msfs2020 not ship with a default 737-8? I thoguht it did?
