Redwood Dream

I captured this image one early morning in Muir Woods. These trees have always amazed me with their height, beauty, and the resiliency to the environment around them.
There is a special mysticism that can be felt as you walk around these trees and feel the soft bark of these giants.

I went outside today (Muir Woods National Park)

A new adventure painting, from our first visit to Muir Woods, a truly magical redwood forest just north of San Francisco. We were there in the late afternoon, and found it low in crowds and high in light rays
