Heiko R.<p><b>"A new Toy for old Men!</b> 😁</p><p>Last week I received this analog camcorder as a gift. Today's evening I brought the pretty, 30 years old lady (built 02/95) back to life:</p><p><br>The camera has only been used a few times over the years and I didn't even have to clean the head drum. I just regenerated the grease of the capstan bearing and adjusted the tape transport a bit.</p><p>Now I just have to dust it off a bit, then it'll actually be like new again. Heiko R.<p><b>"My little Pretty (one of them 😎)"</b></p><p>As announced yesterday while chatting with <span class="h-card"><a href="https://beige.party/users/dirt" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>dirt</span></a></span> , I picked out a picture of my ancient <a href="https://heikosart.eu/search?tag=Minolta" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Minolta</span></a> <a href="https://heikosart.eu/search?tag=Dimage7" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dimage7</span></a>. This picture was taken a few months ago when I repaired this camera as a successor to the Z3, which had recently died.</p><p>With the new(😁) firmware from 2004 or 2005, it now even 'eats' SD cards in via CF adapter.
