'Nature Takes Back - Always'

Disused Railway: This is a dead end buffer stop in the middle of the two running roads at Winscombe Green Station. This area is now a community recreational walkway. This tree has now grown up out of the track bed.

As this patch of natural habitat is cleared for more residential housing, an impromptu site meeting is captured in this monochrome photograph.
Taken across the road from Winscombe Green Railway Station on the now disused Strawberry line.

A gate 'Craigside'

A gate that has a 'Craigside' sign attached to it. A monochrome photo taken as I walked back down the old Strawberry line trackbed, towards Winscombe. On a very grey day indeed.

At the side of the Strawberry Line's old track-bed a water tap has been installed. Someone has been very creative with hose piping.

'Winds Across Weston Beach Lawns'

Weston-super-Mare, Seafront, Beach Lawns. Due to the exposed nature of the location, this tree has grown on the bias.
However, the wind is gale force here and blowing swirling sand across the grounds from the beach. Of course the tree has no option but suck it all up.
I stayed, just about, ten minutes which was all I and my gear could take in these abrasive and dusty conditions
