In case you missed it, #TfL and the Mayor are consulting about the pedestrianisation of #OxfordStreet. It's been talked about for 30 years at least but maybe this time its serious - they even have a date 1 January 2026. Something to look forward to.
There's not much detail here - no mention of permeable paving, much additional green space, trees etc, parallel and perpendicular safe cycling route(s?)., nor of bus rerouting. So get your ideas in. haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/oxford-
