Yeah I get it....another cliche shot from here in Nova Scotia. But then you sit back and realize that some people may never get to experience this amazing location and you can't take scenes like this for granted. It won't be there forever. Thanks for looking.

Reader, I stayed WELL off the black rocks! Don’t have to tell me twice. A truly magical day to cap off an incredible Phase 1 of my trip to #NovaScotia. So glad to have seen #PeggysCove before tourist season really kicks off, even if some things were still closed. The weather was five stars. Next up: Phase 2 with friends living on the Eastern Shore. Walking dogs on the beach, maybe a little kitchen party tonight, and Easter dinner with their family! Super stoked for more local flavour! #HFXHEZ

Comment: this sounds like a great program. Grew up not far-ish f. Peggy's Cove: scenic but can be v. dangerous (slippery seaweed at tideline; rogue waves). Tourism is such a boon to Nova Scotia; we want everyone to be safe!! 🙂

Good Morning #Canada
It's National Lighthouse Day, so this morning, we'll focus on Canada’s most famous beacon, the lighthouse at Peggy's Cove. The lighthouse marks the eastern entrance of St. Margarets Bay and is officially known as the Peggys Point Lighthouse. It is owned and operated by the Canadian Coast Guard, and has been in operation since 1914, having replaced a wooden structure that was built in 1868.
