Pixel Dailies prompt: cephalopod
Not overly happy with this. It's pretty much how they look, but just looks a little odd.
Today I'm trying to push the boundaries of what pixel art means by combining pixelated ASCII art (thanks to the excellent #jgs font by @adelfaure ), pixelated ink illustration and "hand drawn" glitch effects. 200 × 400 pixels, 2 colors. #cephalopod for #pixel_dailies #calamar #squid #ink #illustration #experimental #glitch #digitalart #mixedMedia #1bit #warmGrey #ASCIIart #textmode #pixelart #ドット絵 @pixel_dailies
Today's @pixel_dailies prompt was "view", and it's #ShrimpSunday, so...
View to a Krill.
That's it, that's the toot.
Another month done! Here's my May 2025 pieces for @pixel_dailies, and I'm honestly really proud of a lot of these.
pixel daily is "cart" so here is a cart(ridge)
(64x64, 4x scale for toot)
Today's @pixel_dailies prompt was "hair", which brought me back to working on Witcher 3 when I started at Nvidia. Whole lotta physics hair in that game, and I got to take some seriously glorious screenshots for our efforts.
This is one of my favorites, saved after all these years.
Today's @pixel_dailies prompt was "controller", and it's #ShrimpSunday, so here's a shrimp acting as an air traffic controller but for the sea floor.
(like come on, the clam control tower is great)
