To all people shocked about the 90€ / $90 price tag of the new Mario Kart and similar rumours about GTA 6:
Video game prices have been stable for 40 years, while production costs have been skyrocketing ever since. It may sound harsh, but a price increase is long overdue.
See it this way: With a higher one-time payment, we can keep traditional video games alive and prevent the "Games as a service" cancer from devouring the industry.

My mom got name checked a few times in her field but her secret super power was seeing the potential good in any, really all, of "the least of these" and helping them get out of the ditch and back to a normal, or at least safe, life.
