@terrestres Les vrais réseaux sociaux sont autour de nous: ami.e.s et/ou famille, voisin.e.s, centres communautaires&sportifs, associations, conseils de quartier et autres lieux de #démocratie citoyenne et participative. MAIS aujourd'hui se couper des #RS s'est se couper de tous ces groupes et des informations qui y circulent! This morning I finished Runescape: Dragonwilds as I bet Velgar the dragon.

The game was super fun, and ran really well, especially for Early Access. I'm really hoping they continue to add content to it. It really played and felt a lot like Enshrouded, which I absolutely loved and felt it was my game of the year last year for 2024.

The final boss fight was a bit disappointing however. It was just too simple, as I beat him on the first try without even coming close to dying.

Definitely looking forward to the future of the game though.

Anyone else playing the new Runescape: Dragonwilds game as of yet?

I just started it this morning and it's amazingly awesome. Very similar to Enshrouded in a lot of ways, which happened to be my 2024 game of the year!

I'm not very far into this one yet, but really enjoying it so far.

Yes, you take your chances - there's the occasional outright scam, or so-so quality parts (like the ones that inspired me to write this), but you go into it with your eyes open. You take a chance because it's dirt cheap.

And 90% of the time, the parts are just fine.

For anything important, or safety-related, or mains-connected, or anything I build for other than personal use, I won't use yum-cha parts like this. For those, I order good name-brand parts from a reputable supplier (Newark/Element14/RS, DigiKey, etc).

But for hobbyists just having fun, messing around? AliExpress and friends are an absolute godsend. You can now get into hobby electronics for practically nothing, and build stuff and see if you like it.

There's a place for quality parts, and a place for cheap parts. Knowing which is which isn't hard.

Three cheers for cheap components!

The MC of Inklings' kindness and friendliness clouds her understanding enough that she could not answer this question herself. She does what she does because she is kind and because she is friendly, and she wants to help. Anybody. Any beast. She doesn't realize she's already sacrificed a big part of her humanity—the worst part—to become the person she is. She is covered in scars, albeit of a special magical kind. Her helpfulness has put her in conflict with the ruler of the land and has forced her to learn to become a "civilized" and "socialized" human again, one who knows the "rules" women live under. The trauma of learning how not-human she acted, and how annoyingly eye-catchingly beautiful she was, has led her to suffering from social anxiety (shyness)—though only around humans. She submitted, however, to become friends with the ruler—who considers her incredibly dangerous—because she wanted to help. The concept of sacrifice, like shame, would bewilder her.
