I've been given a zip file full of JPEGs of pages of a #document. I asked for a scan, and was given photos. The photos are ok, but some of the pages are curled, more than the GIMP perspective/3D transform tool can correct for.
Are there any good document scanning programs for #Linux that I can feed a stack of JPEGs to and get a usable #PDF out of? It has to be able to handle some perspective and page curl issues.
Suggestions for easy #photo #organization for #online sharing? I'm #scanning my father's photos. Majority are shipwright photos, primarily the replaced wood and maybe a few people. I might know the name of the ship but that's about it. I seek something where I could have a folder with a simple description and/or date, and it would automated classify the photos, tag a person is in it, etc.. I would like to be able to share links to folders online and show the tags. I can self host.
Some things to consider that may complicate matters:
- technicians willingness to try (or also perhaps policies they may be required to follow regardless)
- relative size of patient + respirator and equipment tolerances (eg: MRI dimensions)
- other issues related to specific models of equipment (just a guess: I'm a #patient, not a #radiologist … I have no idea whether everything is completely standardised)
