Wind gently flutters
jade green leaves uncovering
coyly hidden plums.
FIRE
The heat of her breath blisters his lips,
And he doesn't care. He needs this, he
Wants this. The pain is a necessary
Emotion, this flame she turns him into.
The heat of her boils his blood, fries
His skin, chars his soul. Sparks arc
Across the space between them
To pull him towards her, a torch.
The heat scorches the ground on
Which they embrace and crackle.
The earth fractures and splits.
Fire purifies.
