All the yellow letters on my 2nd guess made today's word more of a #Tetris puzzle than a #Wordle game! #Wordle1512 3/6
Party over here? I'll be over there #Tetris
First time I got an S1 grade on #Tetris Grand Master. Only one relaxed round on morning before work, and I get my best score yet.
Maybe eventually I'll be able to get a GM grade? (On the first one. No intentions of trying to get it on the second; on the third even less.)
"Tetris is especially intriguing to mathematicians in terms of its complexity. More specifically, researchers have wondered about the computing power that it takes to determine how or if someone can truly “solve” Tetris, assuming conditions such as a finite number of bricks and the ability to know the order in which various shapes will appear. [...] [T]hat particular framing places Tetris among the most mathematically complex games."

Pixelated Nostalgia. Simple happiness that the old PC, Gameboy and Nintendo could bring. I will never forget those times.
This post is about the evolution of our home gaming tech :)

@crossgolf_rebel sieht nach ziemlich gutem #tetris aus bisher
you can do it
a short history of randomization rules for tetris blocks since 1985
til: later incarnations of tetris were recoded to reduce/prevent piece repetition and (long bar) "droughts"
Well done Netherland ... and Bulgaria
So there is this mental phenomenon where if you play enough Tetris, when not playing Tetris your brain still tries to make everything Tetris.
It's called The Tetris Effect.
Ever since my one - and first - successful resin pour, my brain keeps trying to figure out how to create a negative space mould of a thing, so I can cast it in resin.
It's equal parts cool and annoying
#Tetris
Just dropped more money than I'd like to admit just to relive the pure, pixelated joy of playing Tetris on a GameBoy. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Did I just pay a premium for 8-bit blocks falling in increasingly stressful ways? 100%. No regrets... well, maybe a few.
Entire family engrossed by the final stages of the #Tetris world championship.
@wyatt it allows you to "#cursed black #magic" stuff, like playing #Tetris #BattleRoyale over the Interwebz with real #GameBoy|s!
A non-stress take on Tetris (made by Adam Tal), where you drag the pieces as if putting together a puzzle.
Pretty relaxing, and calmly addicting.
There are countless versions of TETRIS out there, but I believe one of the most beautiful versions out there, is the 1992 PC release of "TETRIS Classic" from Spectrum HoloByte. Here's the version for Windows 3.1:
Thanks to the uploader "Telev78", this has both the 3.5 and 5.25 inch floppy disks with disk images, flux streams, as well as high-res scans of the disks, box and manual! Go get it!

Oh, look! It's the original TETRIS from Spectrum HoloByte for the IBM-PC. This is such an iconic piece of history!
Got a high score of 39,235 in #isotris. Runs on Windows and Linux.
