Tariff time! Prices were getting higher, no inventory at B&H, so I snagged 160 exposures to get deals (& yes, I gave B#z0s another 18 cents). The squares work out to $1.14 each & the minis only $0.84! My camera takes either format, but I have to find the other camera back. Will keep the film in the fridge.

Vor vielen Monden habe ich meine erste #ShellyPlugS gekauft und dort den #Timer so eingestellt, dass das #Notebook nur tagsüber #Strom bekommt, wenn die #PV-Anlage liefert. Das hat überraschend gut funktioniert, vermutlich mehr als 95% reichte der #Akku über die gesammte Nacht. Und natürlich habe ich das mit stolz geschwellter Brust hier gepostet.

Aber ich hatte das über absolute Zeiten konfiguriert und musste quasi monatlich nachjustieren, wegen verändertem Sonnenstand und #Sommerzeit.

Das geht viel einfacher. Die #Shelly ist smart genug, den Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang zu kennen und man kann auch noch einen Offset draufrechnen.

Das ist Magie.

＜C005 Delay Timer＞

簡単で安価に長時間タイマー（OFFディレータイマー）を探していたところ、C005というタイマー基板が存在することを知った。

このタイマーは、設定次第で2秒から最大約40日のOFFディレータイマーとして機能する。しかも、＠５０円。もちろん、これ単体では負荷を制御できないので電源やリレーは必用だけれど。

このタイマー基板は中国製らしくAmazon、eBay、AliExpressでも安価に売られている。このタイマーについて技術的なことを記載しているWebサイトは何故か海外ばかりで日本語のサイトは上に載せたaitendoしかなかった。

写真を見る限りガラスエポキシ基板にベアチップをポッティングしているだけなので湿度や温度など耐環境性は良く無いとは思うが興味があるので注文した。届くのは暫く先。

I use the timer on my Apple Watch a lot. I find it frustrating that instead of pressing on the big “done” in the middle of the screen to stop the timer after going off, I have to target the small x button in the lower left corner, which because it is very near the rounded edges of the Watch’s screen, is even harder to target. (I just now saw the Done label isn’t even centered in the circle :smh:)

Einfach nur einen bzw. mehrere Timer die ich dann beim klingeln auch unterscheiden kann welcher gerade klingelt.

Systemd timers are a modern alternative that work wonderfully with Systemd-based systems. Simply create a <service>.timer configuration file next to your <service>.service file and define the type of timer and execution time.

One advantage is that the scripts and executables started via the .service file can also be assigned resource restrictions or a defined execution environment (e.g. restrict CPU time or permissions).

In addition, the execution time can also be specified relative to the boot time, e.g. "Start the script every 10 minutes and start it 5 minutes after the boot".

The systemctl tool can be used to monitor the last execution time and check the status.
