“Rainy Evening, Montpellier” — A rainy night street scene in Montpellier, France.

After we left Germany during our late-autumn and early-winter visit to Europe last year we headed to France, eventually ending up in Montpellier, a city in the South of France. While we like returning to places we have previously visited — we always see things we missed the first time — we make a point of going to new places, often those we had not thought of visiting before. Libreria Nanni

This building used to be a hospital but has been a bookshop since 1825. It's one of the oldest bookshops in Bologna. In 1928 Arnaldo Nanni installed the now iconic Parisian style stalls - which you can kind of see on the right hand side of the picture. If there is a rare or out of print book you need - this is where you want to go. They have everything from travel to science fiction to cooking to summoning a demon. (Not 100% sure on the last one, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they had it
