This building used to be a hospital but has been a bookshop since 1825. It's one of the oldest bookshops in Bologna. In 1928 Arnaldo Nanni installed the now iconic Parisian style stalls - which you can kind of see on the right hand side of the picture. If there is a rare or out of print book you need - this is where you want to go. They have everything from travel to science fiction to cooking to summoning a demon. (Not 100% sure on the last one, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they had it 😂)

As a #vintage Operating System guy, I've experienced many OS / operating environments over the decades. There are some that I hate, some that I dislike but appreciate, and some that rock my world.

If you are also into operating systems, which of the following is the most important criterion or characteristic, for you to get behind an OS?

I'd be intrigued to see what people think. My own vote is for interesting OS. It may have never caught on but, if they tried out novel ideas then I'm in.

A special pen and nib today. I got this lovely NOS never-used semi-#vintage Osmiroid calligraphy fountain pen set from 1980. There is a full set of six nibs (pic later) but for now I've put the B4 nib. This B4 is properly considered an italic nib, but it's unusual in that it's a three-tined nib similar to a music nib, and writes with the wetness you'd expect from a music nib.
