Graceful Willet in the Flats
The willet (Tringa semipalmata) effortlessly camouflages with the low tide mudflats at Gulfport, Mississippi, making it nearly imperceptible were it not for the tidal pool. Interestingly, its reflection in the still water offers a clearer, albeit slightly distorted, view of the bird.
