@ObsidianUrbex Nice photos! Just a word of caution: the Bedul Bedouin live in Petra and have done for many centuries. It has never been "abandoned" or "lost", and describing it as such plays into the hands of those who would prefer to see the Bedul and other indigenous people evicted from their lands to make way for Western tourists.

@joeroe
Aye, in my article I go into the "rediscovery" but do illustrate this is only in terms of with regards to the western world. I did toy with putting "lost city" in quotations, for the title it is called this but only from an outside perspective. Thanks for the feedback though, I will reconsider making this clearer in the article as well as going with my original idea to use quotation marks when referring to it as a "lost city". Will change this post now, website updates to follow🙏

How did you get empty pictures 😱💕

@Pjap37
Rushed to The Monastery to beat the crowds in the morning, also stayed all day and did The Treasury right at the end of the day when most people left as the sun went down. Also I went on Christmas day so there wasn't as many people around but still a lot. And I still had to take multiple photos and median stack to remove most people, as well as some other Photoshop tricks to remove camels/people that weren't moving for long periods of time. Tool quite a while, but I am patient 🫣
