More birds encountered today. All were wild, even though I saw three of them at the Bonorong Sanctuary (they had just flown in, presumably because it was a safe place, and there was food).

Forest Raven, Eastern Rosella, Masked Lapwing and earlier this morning at Mt Field, a Little Black Cormorant (one of four or five fishing in a small dam).

A Forest Raven, perched near a hollow in a tree branch, where there were Corella chicks.
The very colourful Eastern Rosella in a tree, lit by sunlight. It has a red head and neck with white cheeks, yellow chest, green rump, green and blue tail. Its wing feathers are yellow rimmed with black centres, except the leading edge which is blue, and the tips with are charcoal.
A pretty standard Masked Lapwing, identical to those in Brisbane. Grey upper, white lower, pink legs, black top of head and neck, black patch at the root of the wings, yellow face mask and bill.
A shiny Little Black Cormorant on a semi-submerged log, next to some brilliant green reeds. The bird is a shiny black, with green eyes, and the beak is slightly hooked at the tip for catching fish.
