Our swamp wallaby is back this morning, wondering what happened to all the tasty long grass that was there the day before (it was mowed yesterday).

Amazingly not venomous at all.
BUT... they can give you a decent kick, the larger roos can disembowel you, and all of them harbour bacteria on their claws that can lead to serious infection if you get scratched.
i hope one comes across someone cutting down some patch of grass and gives the person a really, really nasty infection.

@david sorry, wallaby, but it had to be done - you weren’t eating enough to keep it down. Don’t worry, it will grow back. It always grows back :(
