@ifixcoinops I’ve learned two things about community management the hard way:
First, the blast radius of toxic community members is huge and mostly invisible; for every person who speaks up, there are dozens who’ve quietly just left and hundreds of who peeked in, saw what you tolerate and closed that window without a word.
Second: the worst thing your community ignores is what it accepts, and the worst thing your community accepts what it becomes.
Since the IDs of Firefox extensions are unique for every user, it is not possible to know or guess the addresses of their web-accessible resources.
I was really depressed for the last two days because I left my ring on the lawn and the crows stole it BC shiny. It's irreplaceable and Akkas gave it to me two years ago so I was devastated. I dredged the pond and used a metal detector all over the lawn but it was gone. But today I cooked the crows bacon in the morning and this afternoon it was returned RIGHT WHERE I LEFT THE BACON!!!!!
My latest book review is up. This time it's the classic gothic ghost story "The Turn of the Screw" by Henry James.
This review contains some of the best writing I have done in years, specifically this sentence:
"This is an unreadable, nonsensical vomitorium."
What could be a better recommendation than that? Go check out the full review here:
It's been quite quiet from me lately, because I've been busy with a lot of different stuff (mainly fixing things on the house). However I've been hard at work on making an artwork for the promotional material of my #boardgame project. When that's finished I'm finally ready to reveal what it is all about, however here's a little sneakpeak of a part that should give a lot away 😄 Stay tuned for more!

I was taking a professional development class through the business school at my local university and found this decorative centerpiece on one of the tables in the hallway outside the classroom. All the different textures in this arrangement really caught my eye.

Howdy, Photog.social! I just moved here from Mastodon.art, which I've infested since 2017. I thought I'd see what life is like on a dedicated photography instance.
I sometimes do digital art, and I occasionally dabble in analog art. That's why I landed over there originally.
Mostly I post photography or talk about things that interest me. This is not an official #introductions post, but it will have to do for now.
I'll post photos later.
