They're brighter, perkier, buff, well honed sorts.</p><p>Like a lot of British things, the Maynards Bassetts ones look like they've been sat on by Jabba the Hutt. They're kinda flaccid, warped, dull sorts. There is probably a relevant British standard for this special feature of British food, BSI-5318008 or something.</p><p>There's probably some whole sorta allsort metaphor to be had here. But I'm too busy having allsorts.</p><p><a href="https://toot.ale.gd/tags/allsorts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>allsorts</span></a> <a href="https://toot.ale.gd/tags/liquorice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>liquorice</span></a> <a href="https://toot.ale.gd/tags/licorice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>licorice</span></a> <a href="https://toot.ale.gd/tags/ausveng" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ausveng</span></a></p>
