Flipboard<p>Eritrean journalist Akberet Beyene was placed under house arrest in her home country as part of a crackdown on the media, and eventually fled the country dressed in her mother’s clothes and carrying her sister’s passport. It was just the first step in her journey to Canada as an asylum seeker. He passed away because of a <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/diptheria" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diptheria</span></a> outbreak at that unhygienic place </p><p>An hour ago, I learnt that ALL 38 asylum seekers are to be taken off the <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/BibbyStockholm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BibbyStockholm</span></a> because of a substantial <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Legionnaires" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Legionnaires</span></a> outbreak.</p><p>Humans are not supposed to live like this.</p><p>We are neither commodities nor packages.</p><p>I truly hate the bastards that do this.</p>

Neither does the word hotel.
